CISF has issued notification for recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector under CISF Assistant Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 scheme. There are total 79 Assistant Sub Inspector vacancies. Eligible and Desirous candidates may apply online up to 28th February 2017. Last date for residents of North East region, Sikkim, Ladhakh division of J&K State , Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of HP, Andaman & Nicobar island and Lakswadweep is 07th March 2017.   Following are  details.

Pay Scale (in Rupees)

Salary of Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is as per pay scale of Rs. 5200-20,200/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 2,800/-

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination passed from recognized Board or University or equivalent.

Application fee for Assistant Sub Inspector recruitment in CISF is Rs.100/-SC/ST, Women and Ex-servicemen candidates are not to pay any application fee. They exempted from application fee.


Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years as on 28th February 2017 (closing date for receipt of the application from candidates in India) including for the candidates of North East region.

NOTE :- There is age relaxation for certain categories as per Government rules.

Also candidates should have following qualification.

Skill test norms on computer – Dictation:-10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. Transcription time50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Selection Process

Final selection of the candidates will be made from the candidates those found fit in the medical examination strictly according to merit and availability of vacancies.
