Indian Navy Officer Recruitment 2017 Pilot, ATC Vacancies
Following are details of Indian Navy Officer Recruitment 2017 for Pilot and Air Traffic Controller posts :-
Candidates who have passed Engineering degree. Or are in the final year of Engineering Course (with Physics & Maths in 12th Standard) in any discipline. Degree from a recognized university / educational institute with 60% marks till 5th / 7th semester, in regular / integrated course respectively. For ATC entry, the candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class XII.
There is no application fee.
Pay Scale & Promotion
Candidates selected shall be placed as Sub Lieutenant in PB-3 i.e. Rs.15600-39100/- with grade pay of Rs. 5400/- and Military Service Pay Rs. 6000/-.
Promotion for selected candidates as Short Service Commissioned officer, exists up to rank of Commander. Following is hierarchy :-
Following are age criteria for above mentioned posts :-
ATC – Born between 02 Jan 1993 and 01 Jan 1997; both dates inclusive. – Male or Female candidates.
Pilot (MR) – Born between 02 Jan 1994 and 01 Jan 1999; both dates inclusive. – Male or Female candidates.
Pilot (other than MR) – Born between 02 Jan 1994 and 01 Jan 1999; both dates inclusive. – Male only.
Indian Navy will conduct SSB interviews for short-listed candidates from Jun 17 to Aug 17 at Bangalore for pilot. For ATC, SSB interviews will be at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam. SSB will inform about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS.
