Following are brief details of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018, AFCAT 2018 Notification :-
Name of the Post
Commissioned officer in Indian Air Force through AFCAT entry, NCC Special Entry & Meteorology Branch.
Initial pay scale of entry level commissioned officer i.e. Flying officer in Indian air force is Rs. 56100 – 110700/-. This pay scale is at level 10. In addition to pay, IAF also pays allowances like Flying, Technical, Field Area, Special Compensatory (Hill area), Special Force, Siachen, Island Special Duty, Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer, Area and Remote Locality Allowance.
Candidates should be Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University. For detailed information please see official notification.
There is NO application fee
Flying Branch :-
Candidates applying for flying branch should be between 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2019 i.e. born between 02 January 1995 to 01 January 1999. (both dates inclusive). Candidates having Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is can apply up to 26 years of age i.e. born between 02 January 1993 to 01 January 1999 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty Branches
Candidates should be between 20 to 26 years of age as on 01 January 2019 i.e. born between 02 January 1993 to 01 January 1999 (both dates inclusive).
Selection Process for Indian air force recruitment 2018, AFCAT 2018 notification is as mentioned below :-
Candidates have to appear for AFCAT examination. After passing the examination, IAF will call candidates for SSB interview at various SSB Centres. Successful candidates have to undergo medical examination. Finally, there will be merit list. Successful candidates have to undergo training at Air Force Academy, Hyderabad.
