There are total 415 vacancies in National Defence Academy this time. In which 208 vacancies are for Army, 120 for Air Force and 42 vacancies are for Navy. Air Force vacancies include 28 vacancies for ground duties.

Candidates who have born not earlier than 02nd January 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2004 are eligible to apply.
For Army Wing of National Defence Academy applicants should be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy candidates should be 12th Class pass with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates are to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility. Candidates can also pay fee by using Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card. SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs need not pay application fee.

THE PAPERS IN ALL THE SUBJECTS WILL CONSIST OF OBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS ONLY. QUESTION PAPERS OF MATHEMATICS AND PART “B” OF GENERAL ABILITY TEST WILL BE SET BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS ENGLISH.
Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi will award degrees to cadets on passing out.
Army Cadets : B.Sc./B.Sc. (Computer)/BA /B.Tech degree
Naval Cadets : B.Tech degree
Air Force Cadets : B.Tech degree
Candidates will get stipend of Rs. 56100/- during training period. After completion of training candidates will get full pay including allowances such as DA, HRA, Military Service Pay and other allowance depending on the place of posting.
